    Beaver Creek Nightlife

Most would say that the Beaver Creek nightlife pales in comparison to neighboring Vail, but with so many locals living in nearby Avon and the world-class Vilar Performing Arts Center to add a little culture to the after-hours scene, there’s plenty of evening activities and hot spots to keep night hawks entertained.

Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek

Experience big city performances way up in a quaint Rocky Mountain ski village at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek. This 530-seat theater is owned and operated by local nonprofit Vail Valley Foundation. You can expect world-class, year-round performances ranging from classic rock, pop, and Broadway musicals to ballet and classical concerts.

    Beaver Creek Après Ski

While it may not the rowdiest nightlife hotspot, Beaver Creek’s après ski should not be dismissed. Many of the bars and restaurants in the Beaver Creek Village have great patios, perfect for sunning on warmer spring skiing days. The Coyote Cafe, located in the base village just around the corner from the Promenade, is a popular scene with locals and visitors alike. Saddle up at the bar, high tables, or outdoor patio for tasty margaritas, beers and hearty Mexican fare. If you’re looking to mingle with locals and put down a beer, or four, head to The Dusty Boot Saloon and Steakhouse, which has some of the best après specials in town.

For higher-end après ski enjoyment stop in at the Beaver Creek Chophouse. You’ll find an exceptional slopeside patio and an extensive martini and infused vodka menu.

    Beaver Creek Bars

Unless there’s a special event going on, the Beaver Creek bar scene quiets down after dinner, so if exploring the local nightlife is high on your list, hop on the free bus and head to Avon. For the best live music you’ll want to plan a night at Agave. It’s a wildly popular hangout for young locals, as native Colorado bands and DJs perform often. The dance floor and stage are a unique experience, as patrons can enjoy a view from above of performers—and dancers—via a second floor balcony. You can find a wide variety of tequilas to choose from, and grab a bite to eat if you come early. If you’re looking for more low-key nightlife head to Bob’s Place for some casual billiards, draft beers, bar food and sports games.

If you’re looking to save a couple bucks, and mingle with locals check out Loaded Joe’s Coffeehouse and Lounge in Avon. Daily specials, happy hour, trivia night and local DJ sets, make this a great place to truly experience the local party scene.
